Dark blue plums |

Vinegar |
1¼ pounds |

Sugar |
Preparation:

Wash, dry & pit plums. Combine with sugar & vinegar & let stand for 12 hours. After 12 hours, boil for 1 minute, reduce heat & simmer 6 hours without stirring. Turn heat high & cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour into glasses, cover with wrap paper & tie securely. Serve when cool.
